Hi, I'm Keisuke – a software developer, father of two wild and wonderful boys, and a passionate angler living deep in the Swedish forest in a house that's been standing for over 150 years.
By day (and often into the night), I'm fully immersed in code – mostly writing TypeScript. But when I'm not at the keyboard, you'll find me fishing in quiet lakes, renovating this charming-but-demanding old house, or foraging mushrooms and berries in the forest. Life is a bit like a full-time marathon – but my cat makes sure I get my daily moment of peace.
Oh! Almost forgot to write – before becoming a developer, I used to work as a barista, and I still take coffee very seriously. I enjoy bright and fruity coffees with a hint of floral notes – something like a good Ethiopian washed brew really hits the spot.
I love building things and solving problems – whether it's software, a kitchen cabinet, or the perfect cup of coffee. I find joy in learning, improving, and staying close to nature while raising my kids.
## Bio
Born in Kyoto, Japan 🇯🇵
Started playing piano
I was kind of pushed into becoming a pianist, and most of my childhood was filled with intense practice. It was tough, but it taught me perseverance and how to learn and improve on my own.
Moved to Germany 🇩🇪
Quit playing piano
I lost sight of why I was playing piano and decided to quit. From then on, my focus shifted to computers and gaming. I built my own PC, customized it inside and out, and spent countless hours playing Minecraft.
Became a barista, husband and father
While helping at my father's restaurant, I met a passionate barista who completely inspired me. Around that time, I also got to know the owners of a newly opened café – it had only been open for a few weeks – and they invited me to join. They gave me full creative freedom, and over time I became the head barista. Together, we turned the small local café into one of the town's well-known specialty coffee shop. That’s also when I met my wife – and started a family.

Started programming and became a developer
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the café I worked at had to close for several months. My wife encouraged me to try programming – something I’d been curious about since my teenage years. I started learning, built a few websites for local businesses, and within a year, landed my first full-time role as a developer.
Goodbye Germany, hej Sweden 🇸🇪
Sweden had always fascinated me – the nature, the culture, the calm. So, we took the leap and moved to Sweden!
